1. VIP membership – monthly store credit charge
If you've been charged $39.95 and received a $39.95 store credit, this is what it means:
You've enrolled in the VIP membership.
As a VIP member, each month between the 1st and 5th, you need to either:
Make a purchase, or
Click the SKIP THE MONTH button in your account's Membership Dashboard.
If you do not skip or shop between the 1st and 5th, a $39.95 charge will process on the 6th.
This charge appears on your Adore Me account as store credit.
VIP store credit details
Store credit can be used on any purchase on Adore Me's website.
Store credit never expires.
Store credit is refundable within 12 months of the charge date.
Refunding your VIP store credit
A. VIP store credit charge is within 30 days:
You can refund this store credit directly from your account, as follows:
Go to your Membership Dashboard.
Go to the Store Credit tab.
Click GET REFUND.
Refund processing time: 1–3 business days.
B. VIP store credit charge is older than 30 days but newer than 1 year: Reach out to our Customer Care team and our teammates there will be happy to help.
2. Elite subscription pre-authorization charge
If you've been charged $39.95 and didn't receive a $39.95 store credit, this means that you've enrolled in the Elite monthly box subscription and we've started working on your Elite box.
The purpose of the $39.95 Elite pre-authorization charge is to verify that your payment method is active so we can begin preparing your Elite box.
What happens to the Elite $39.95 pre-authorization charge
If it passes, it is refunded automatically within seconds.
Depending on your bank, the temporary hold may remain visible for 1–3 business days.
Once it passes, your Elite box's processing enters the next step.
If it fails, your Elite box will not be created and we will try the pre-authorization again after a few days.
